Bubblegum Produce at its roots is an exploration of editorial design, product photography, and pop art. Combining color, produce and clean type I made a dictionary to explore clean placement and beautiful imagery.

The type for the cover is playful while exploring an unconventional organization of the text. Because the project was less about the definitions and more about the text placement I wanted the cover harder to read. In contrast, the interior is easily legible.

The dimensions explore unconventional sizes to stray away from the standard 8.5"x11".

I used pink as a base color for the produce so that it places them in realm of being framed as opposed to being eaten. Furthermore, I wanted the photography to be imagery one would easily imagine on DTC websites. The opposing white pages are meant to POP and contrast the pink, representing a more commercial white background photography.
